Counselor Update & Student Support During My Leave

Dear Clearwater Middle School Parents and Guardians,

As I prepare to begin my maternity leave, Friday, September 25th, will be my last day at Clearwater Middle School for a little while. I look forward to returning after Christmas Break and continuing to work with our students and families.  During my absence, I will not be available for school counseling services. 

I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your children and our Clearwater Middle School families. It has been a privilege to support our students throughout the school year, and I look forward to returning and continuing that work when my leave concludes.

Please know that support will be available to our students at school during my absence. If your child needs assistance or someone to talk to while I am away, please contact Mrs. Lydia Mabury, Clearwater High School Counselor at 573-223-7724 (ext. 5107). Our school staff will be available to provide support and help connect students with appropriate resources as needed. 

If your child needs additional counseling support while I am away, the following is a list of community counselors who serve our area. Please understand that parents/guardians are responsible for any costs that may be incurred for these services. If you are interested in their services, the providers listed below are Medicaid and MO HealthNet providers. They can also bill you or your insurance, if applicable. These services are not provided by or through the Clearwater R-1 School District.
